Derek Season 2 on Netflix

For all you Netflix subscribers, Derek Season 2 is on Netflix.

It’s a great series and the only way to see it in the United States is via Netflix.  It’s not yet available on DVD.

If you don’t have Netflix streaming services, it’s worth checking out the free trial so you can watch the first two seasons.

If you are a Ricky Gervais fan, it’s worth checking it out.  Plus Karl Pilkington is in it too!

What’s it about?

Derek is a loyal nursing home caretaker who sees only the good in his quirky co-workers as they struggle against prejudice and shrinking budgets to care for their elderly residents.

The great thing about it is that you can binge watch the entire series plus his friend Karl Pilkington is in it too!

It’ll make you laugh and it’ll make you cry.

The Sopranos

sopranos-dvd-bigIf you’re in the mood for binge watching entertainment, and haven’t seen HBO’s “The Sopranos” you have the following options:
1.Subscribe to HBO so you can catch it on GO or via your cable device
2. Get on Amazon.com and buy the episode at $1.99 or the single seasons at discounted prices.
3. Get the BOX SET (entire series) online or at Barnes and Noble or Target.
4. Get the FIRST SEASON online. You may be able to find it at Barnes and Noble stores that still carry DVDs. Target doesn’t have it.
5. Borrow the discs on Netflix.
6. Check with a friend and see if they can lend it to you.

ABL went for #6. She asked a friend about the series and luckily was given sets 1 and 2 for FREE. For that ABL is grateful!

Netflix and Amazon Prime also have streaming services on various devices.

ABL’s only reservation is that if you don’t have a fast enough connection or if your connection is down, you can’t watch your content.

Here are a few good questions:
– Do I need to see my content ASAP or can I wait?
– Do they have a new releases?
– Do I shop a lot at Amazon? (If so, you may want to consider prime).
– Do I want disc convenience and streaming?
– What’s my budget?

Check the what works for you first then decide.
